Terms of Service for Dax Pro — the premium .NET static site generator theme. Commercial license, unlimited projects, no resale as a competing theme.

Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing, downloading, or using Dax Pro (the premium .NET static site generator theme), you agree to these Terms of Service.

If you do not agree, do not use Dax Pro.

License Grant

Dax Pro is a paid commercial theme. A valid purchase from the official Gumroad store grants you:

  • ✅ Unlimited project usage — deploy Dax Pro on as many sites as you want, personal or commercial
  • ✅ Unlimited client projects — use Dax Pro for client work, agency projects, and internal sites
  • ✅ Full source code access — modify, extend, and customize the theme freely
  • ✅ Lifetime updates — access to future versions of Dax Pro
  • ✅ Perpetual license — no expiration date, no recurring fee

    What You May NOT Do

    Under this license, you may NOT:

  • ❌ Resell Dax Pro as a theme — you cannot sell, sublicense, or redistribute the theme itself as a standalone product
  • ❌ Bundle Dax Pro in a competing product — you cannot include Dax Pro in a theme marketplace, template bundle, or another SSG theme package
  • ❌ Publish Dax Pro on a free or paid theme directory — including GitHub as a public theme repo
  • ❌ Share your purchase with others — the license is per purchaser, not per organization
  • ❌ Remove copyright notices — attribution to Dax Pro must remain in the source code

    • You MAY:

  • ✅ Build unlimited personal, commercial, or client sites
  • ✅ Modify the theme freely
  • ✅ Use it in agency deliverables (each client site is one project — unlimited)
  • ✅ Combine it with your own code, content, and design
  • ✅ Sell the site you built with Dax Pro — you just cannot sell the theme itself

    • What Is the Underlying DAX Engine?

    Dax Pro is a theme built on top of the DAX SSG engine. The DAX engine (Program.cs) is MIT open source — see github.com/mesinkasir/dax.

    The MIT license applies to the engine. The Dax Pro theme (templates, CSS, layouts, content) is governed by these Terms, not MIT.

    Refund Policy

    Because Dax Pro is a digital product with full source code delivered immediately, all sales are final. No refunds.

    Dax Pro includes email support from the Dax Pro team. We aim to respond within 4 business hours.

    Support covers:

  • ✅ Installation and setup questions
  • ✅ Build and deploy troubleshooting
  • ✅ Decap CMS configuration guidance

    • Support does not cover:

  • ❌ Custom feature development (hire on Fiverr instead)
  • ❌ Migration from another CMS (hire on Fiverr)
  • ❌ Third-party hosting issues

Warranty Disclaimer

Dax Pro is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

In no event shall the authors or copyright holders be liable for any claim, damages, or other liability arising from the use of Dax Pro.

Changes to Terms

These Terms may be updated as Dax Pro evolves. The latest version is always available at /terms/ on any Dax Pro site.
